چکیده
Pseudo hypoparathyroidism is a hereditary disorder characterized by symptoms and signs of hypoparathyroidism, typically in association with distinctive skeletal developmental defects. The due to deficient end organ response parathyroid hormone. We describe 26-year-old woman who has typical features Albright's osteodystrophy. Which include round face, short neck stature brachydactyly. Laboratory investigations showed hypocalcaemia, hyperphosphatemia elevated hormone level. Brain CT scan revealed calcification at the basal ganglion hand X-ray shortening fourth fifth metacarpal metatarsal bones. patient was diagnosed have pseudo type 1a, on basis somatic osteodystrophy biochemical abnormalities. Only includes both hypocalcaemia metacarpals, therefore, supporting our diagnosis this 22 year old female normal renal function which exclude hypoparathyroidism.

A rare cause of hypocalcemia
BACKGROUND Many factors influence serum calcium concentration, but the major determinants of calcium homeostatsis are parathyroid hormone (PTH), vitamin D, the ionized calcium, and phosphate [1]. Therefore, deranged calcium metabolism is often seen in the presence of disordered parathyroid hormone (PTH) and/or vitamin D actions. Among these causes is end-organ resistance to the biological effec...

We report on a middle-aged man with end-stage renal failure apparently secondary to recurrent renal stones. He developed systemic oxalosis soon after commencing dialysis. The diagnosis of primary hyperoxaluria type 1 was supported by the finding of high dialysate glycolate excretion. The patient subsequently received an isolated cadaveric renal transplant, but the outcome was a rapid recurrence...

The main differential diagnoses were vitamin D deficiency and PTH resistance (pseudohypoparathyr...
